Petit point sur mon challenge expresso

Mais putain qu’est ce qui m’a pris de vouloir faire ce challenge ! Pourtant, ce n’est pas comme si je ne savais pas où je mettais les pieds. Les expressos, j’en ai consommé plus d’un déjà. Je vous la fait courte, pour le moment, je suis EVEN : pas un euro de plus et pas un euro de moins.  Mais ça n’a pas été de tout repos pour autant. Je suis descendu rapidement à 35€ (soit -15€ sur la bankroll de départ) après un enchainement de déchatte monumentale, puis je suis remonté à 55€, pour finir à 50 donc.

Ce qui ressort très clairement de ces sessions de winamax expresso :

  • Le niveau est très faible :  les mecs s’envoient en l’air avec des poubelles.
  • C’est ultra difficile de battre le rake : la raison est évidente, il suffit de voir le tableau ci-dessous pour se rendre compte du genre de probabilités auxquelles on a à faire. J’ai enchaîné un gros paquet de sitngo expresso, en mode multitable à 4 tables et le plus gros coefficient que j’ai joué était de seulement x6. Quand on sait que derrière, il faut en plus le gagner, on voit très vite que cette variante est clairement EV-.

Mais je n’ai pas dit mon dernier mot. La raison en est simple : j’ai un edge évident sur la plupart des joueurs qui s’essayent à ce format. C’est ce qui me sauve sur le volume, malgré les bad beats. Et je peux vous dire qu’on en mange des magnifiques. J’ai par exemple perdu un expresso X6 avec AA vs A2 allin préflop… en faisant brelan d’as au flop. D’un autre côté, on prend tellement de bad beats qu’on arrive vite à ne plus trop y faire attention. on bust, on ouvre une nouvelle et on enchaine et ainsi de suite. Je ne dis pas que je deviendrais pas fou si je prenais ce genre de bad sur un gros coefficient multiplicateur… espérons que ça ne m’arrive pas.
