Hier soir, alors que j’étais à la recherche de sat pour prendre des tickets à 100€, je suis tombé sur un turbo freezeout avec 15 tickets à gagner et Ô miracle, de l’overlay! Vous savez que je ne peux pas résister à l’overlay 😉 alors malgré ma reg late (enregistrement tardif), j’ai sauté dessus. Bien m’en a pris, puisque j’ai choppé le ticket. Oui mais sauf que j’avais sur-estimé le temps que tout cela prendrait. Du coup, j’ai été directement inscrit sur le night on stars à 100€ alors qu’il avait commencé depuis 20mn. Pas cool. Déjà, c’est pas mon genre de mettre 100€ dans un tournoi turbo, et à plus forte raison de reg late!
Mais je n’avais pas le choix. Alors j’ai enchainé. 553 joueurs au départ quand même. Même si on part avec 10000 jetons, les blinds augmentent vite (5mn) et les antes aussi. Avec un turbo, pas le temps d’attendre les bonnes mains. Je gagne des petits coups, toujours avec des mains moyennes qui ne connectaient rien mais le c-bet est un outil qui fonctionne bien en turbo, les joueurs préférant garder un stack le plus important possible. A la 1ère pause, j’ai 18k. C’est loin d’être énorme mais c’est jouable.
Peu après la pause, j’ai 17k et les blinds sont à 600/1200. Rude! Mais il ne faut pas perdre de vue que c’est pareil pour tout le monde et que tout peut aller très vite.Le problème, c’est que je suis card dead pendant l’heure qui suit. J’évite miraculeusement les confrontations allin et je prends quelques petits pots mais je me retrouve à la pause d’après à seulement 5BB. Seule consolation, le simple fait de voler blinds et antes font prendre plusieurs places au classement! Mais je suis au pire moment, il reste 88 joueurs en jeu, la bulle est à 81 et je suis 82eme! La logique m’impose de viser l’ITM a tout prix. Je laisse d’ailleurs passer une pocket 3 sans boncher… mais je n’arrive pas à lâcher 2 mains plus tard ma pocket 8 quand un joueur assez short aussi boite. Il a KJ, un coinflip qui cette fois tourne en ma faveur et m’assure l’ITM.
Avec mes 10BB et la bulle qui a sauté, je me prends pour le roi du pétrole. Je touche d’ailleurs AK, je boite et personne pour suivre. Idem 2 coups plus tard avec 88. A ce moment du tournoi, on cherche plus à grappiller quelques places, il faut prendre des risque pour monter un stack et viser la TF, qui promet qand même 9k€ au winner! Je paye donc sans regret la boite d’un stack qui me couvre légèrement, il a AK et j’ai 77, le coinflip, encore, cette fois perdu. 180€ de touchés, c’est toujours ça quand on sait que je ne voulais pas joué ce tournoi et que j’ai pris ça avec seulement une poignée de VPP quelques sat plus tôt.
Toujours est-il que je me suis juré de pas refaire un sat turbo à 100€ avant un bon bout de temps 
GG Julien. Perso, je n'oublierai jamais ma paire d'As crackée à 4 places pour une qualif sur un sat FTP. J'étais sorti des qualif 80/1700 (100 places à prendre) puis je termine 54e sur les 800+ participants au niveau 2 … à 4 places de la qualif! Depuis lors, lorsque je suis un peu short, j'ouvre toutes les tables en cours à l'approche de la bulle et ne joue que si cela s'avère nécessaire, paire de 8 includes! 😀
oui la logique voulait que je fold mes 88. Mais j'ai quand même plus de chance en envoyant d'etre en coinflip qu'en attendant de me retrouver d'office à tapis avec une poubelle.
