Hier soir à 2h00 du mat, après avoir bust dees Scoop et autres winamax series, j’ai fini par manger une petit bulle de derrière les fagots: la bulle du sat WPT national Cannes. 24 joueurs au départ, 150€ de buy-in et 1 seul package à 2750€ à prendre.
Comme souvent maintenant, je me suis enregistré tardivement, 30mn après le début. Ce n’est vraiment pas un souci sur ce genre de tournoi avec une belle structure.
Le début du tournoi s’est déroulé un peu près sans encombre. J’ai réussi à monter un stack tranquillement. Alors qu’il ne reste plus que 6 joueurs, je suis 2eme en jeton et plutôt serein. C’est alors que je prends un premier mauvais coup avec AK vs K9 allin preflop et K9 qui touche double paire. Je me retrouve short stack mais la profondeur des tapis me permet de ne pas m’envoyer en l’air sur n’importe quoi non plus. Comme por me narguer, le petit malin qui a pris mes jetons avec sa double paire, paye un tapis avec JT pour toucher xTT au flop et prendre une énorme avance sur la TF.
Même si une partie de moi est en train de hurler, l’autre reste calme. J’évite le tilt et je repars en mode grinder. Finalement ça paye et nous voilà bientôt que 3… 3 sans le vilain qui a spew tout son énorme stack à force de vouloir trop mettre la pression (symdrôme du chipleader). Les 2 joueurs restant sont sérieux. Le chipleader a 63k, j’ai 30k et 3eme larron a 25k. Inutile de vous dire que nous sommes tous très motivés! Je finis par monter à 50k, le CL est descendu à 57k et le 3eme joueurs est short avec 12k (blind 400/800). Je profite d’une pocket 10 pour sortir le short stack qui aura push avec A9 off.
Quand le heads-up démarre j’ai 63k et mon adversaire 56k. On s’échange nos jetons jusqu’à un coup presque fatidique:
Je relance à 2000 avec [Ks Qc] et mon adversaire shove allin rapidement. Je le couvre et je paye. Il montre [6s 6h]. Le board me donne de faux espoir avec un K au flop et une 6 river.
Il me reste alors plus que 15k et le CL a 105k.
Mais je double une première fois avec 99 vs A8 et puis un peu plus tard encore une fois avec une flush vs une straight.
Jusqu’au coup fatidique: J’ai 40k et mon adversaire à 80k. Il raise à 2500, je 3bet et il shove. Avec le recul, je pense que je AT suited était un peu light pour payer dans ce spot… Il montre [As Qs] et même si je chatte mon Dix, il chatte sa flush river. Bim. Ça pique.
