Hier à 19h, je me suis retrouvé face à mr4b pour le 8ème de finale du tournoi spécial blogueur organisé par Betfair ( Pour voir son blog c’est ICI). Ce fut un match serré… Que j’ai fini par perdre 🙁 ! Je m’en suis voulu car j’ai manqué de patience sur la fin. C’est un de mes gros défauts et c’est dommage car c’est une qualité essentielle au poker. Je travaille dessus, mais en attendant ça m’a coûté cher sur ce heads-up.
J’ai pourtant dominé pendant un moment avec un stack de 16k contre 4k pour mr4b. Pour moi, le tournant du match s’est joué avant la première pause alors que j’avais un stack bien supérieur. J’arrivais à l’étouffer petit à petit et son tapis fondait doucement mais sûrement… jusqu’à cette fameuse main. Cette main se résume à un call de mr4b que je qualifierais de très étonnant. Soit il avait parfaitement lu dans mon jeu, soit il a fait une « erreur » qui a tourné à son avantage. Sur le board il y avait 2-3-4-5. Mon bet sur la river m’affichait clairement avec une quinte (soit un As soit un 6). Il a call avec une double paire (3-2) 😯 Moi j’étais en bluff complet. Après ce coup, j’avais toujours un plus gros tapis mais ce fut quand un même un moment clé car j’ai tout de suite perçu que mr4b reprenait confiance et de fait, il a joué nettement plus agressif par la suite. Moi de mon côté, ça m’a déstabilisé et je n’ai pas sû laisser filer.
A la pause on s’est retrouvé à tapis égal. Mais les blinds et les ante étaient assez importantes pour vite faire basculer la partie. C’est un peu ce qui s’est passé. Jusqu’à la dernière main, où mr4b touche sa couleur backdoor. Je call car je suis committed mais c’est une erreur. Je le sais mais je call quand même.
Je pense avoir perdu ce heads-up principalement à cause de mon manque de patience. mr4b quant à lui a sû profiter de la faille. Je regrette le dernier coup qui aurait pu tout changer sans cette « killer river ».
En tout cas bravo à mr4b, je lui souhaite bonne continuation. Je ne doute pas qu’il aura fort à faire avec son prochain adversaire 😉

merci pour ce CR ! je vais moi même m'atteler à préparer le mien après ma journée de travail (bah ouai malheureusement il n'y a pas que le poker dans la vie), et tu comprendras pourquoi je me décidé à caller avec double paire 2-3, malgré un scary flop … je me suis en effet fié à ma lecture, mais j'en conviens, c'est un call "couillu". à suivre sur mon blog surement dans la soirée.

non c'est pas du tout ce que je voulais dire. Je voulais dire que plus on avance dans le tournoi plus le niveau est bon. C'est logique. J'ai jamais dit qu'il jouait mal. J'ai dit que c'était moi qui avais mal joué!
